Mt. Franklin Christian Academy is a ministry of Mt. Franklin Baptist Church. We believe that the school is a partner and extension of the home and church and that together we are responsible to train, equip and nurture the whole child.
We believe that all wisdom and truth comes from God and cannot be adequately taught separate from Him and His Word. We believe that excellence in academics taught from a Christian worldview and thoroughly integrated with Biblical principles and truths to be the cornerstone and ultimate goal of the Christian school.
We believe that every child is a special and unique creation of God. As the Creator and Sustainer of all life, God has a specific plan for each individual that can only be fully realized through His Son, Jesus Christ. It is our desire and purpose to help each child come to and strengthen a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage each child to pursue mastery in learning and a God honoring lifestyle that will enable him/her to fulfill the divine purpose for his/her life.
We believe that when the learning environment is characterized by a wholesome, nurturing, and safe setting within the framework of godly principles, that students can learn and grow and develop a Christian world view and an awareness of their responsibility in their world. Our goal, then, is to provide the student with an atmosphere and opportunities that will allow him to grow and develop to his fullest potential.
